abstract | It is intended to provide a convenient and low invasive method for acquiring information regarding a biological rhythm of an individual organism. The method for acquiring information regarding a biological rhythm of an individual organism based on a change over time in the value of an activity of a biologically active substance extracted from oral mucosal epithelial cells of the individual organism, particularly alpha-amylase is provided. This method utilizes an activity variation curve showing a change over time in the value of an activity of a biologically active substance as a molecular timetable for presuming a biological rhythm and is capable of detecting a shift in the biological rhythm of the individual organism. |
