abstract The invention discloses a method and a device for preparing realgar powder. The method comprises the following step of: injecting realgar serosity obtained by grinding into a cylindrical vessel for performing continuous suspension sedimentation separation, wherein the injection direction is non-coplaner with the axis of the cylindrical vessel. In the method, the ground realgar serosity is in a vortex flow state in the cylindrical vessel by using an impulse force of fluid injection; fine realgar particles in the realgar serosity form suspension on the upper layer of water under the flowing action of a vortex; while coarse realgar particles sink and centralize in the centre of a vortex under the flowing action of the vortex; and along with continuous injection of the realgar serosity, the suspension on the upper layer of the water continuously overflows to enter a centrifugal separation process and the sinking coarse realgar particles in the centre of the lower layer of the water outflow to return a grinding process with water flow under the action of gravity. Therefore, the production continuity of the realgar powder is realized; unnecessary burdensome steps are avoided; and production efficiency is improved greatly.
