abstract The invention provides raw paper of pressure-sensitive adhesive paper, which is used in printing of an ink-jet printer, has no blur of recorded images, and has sufficient printing density and good printing adaptability of superfine images such as bar codes and the like. The raw paper of the pressure-sensitive adhesive paper suitable to be printed by the ink-jet printer is characterized by comprising base paper, and a coating layer for totally or partially forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition on one face or two faces of the base paper; the coating layer contains a base agent, a particle filling agent and a cationic ink fixing agent, wherein the particle filling agent contains amorphous silica of which oil absorption is 100 to 280 milliliters per 100 grams measured according toISO787-5, and the amorphous silica of the particle filling agent contained in the coating layer accounts for 50 to 150 percent of the weight of the base agent; and the cationic ink fixing agent contains polyalkylamino epichlorohydrin resin, and the polyalkylamino epichlorohydrin resin contained in the coating layer accounts for 5 to 35 percent of the weight of the base agent.
