titleOfInvention | Method for preparing acetic acid by carbonylation of choromethane |
abstract | The invention discloses a method for preparing acetic acid by carbonylation of choromethane, which comprises the steps of carrying out carbonylation on the choromethane (CH3Cl) and carbon monoxide (CO) in an organic medium containing a catalyst under a certain pressure for generating acetyl chloride (CH3COCl), leading the acetyl chloride and a certain amount of water to be in hydrolysis reaction, being transformed into the acetic acid (CH3COOH), taking a rhodium (Rh) compound or an iridium (Ir) compound and the like as a main catalyst for carrying out reaction, taking an iodide and an organic phosphine ligand as auxiliary catalysts, and carrying out the reaction in a solvent of organic acid or organic acid anhydride. The method can transform the choromethane into the acetic acid within a relatively short time, and the yield is as high as more than 90%. |
