The method comprises: an electrolysis step of electrolyzing a metal sample containing a reference element and an element of interest in an electrolysis solution; a collection step of collecting a portion of the electrolysis solution; an analysis step of analyzing the collected electrolysis solution; a concentration ratio calculation step of calculating the ratio of the concentration of the element of interest to the concentration of the reference element in the electrolysis solution based on the results of the analysis; and a content calculation step of calculating the content of the element of interest present in a solid solution state by multiplying the calculated concentration ratio by the content of the reference element in the metal sample. |
