The present invention provides new fermented tea leaves having medicinal effect effective to maintain and improve health, a fermented tea leaf extract, and composition for restraining the rise of blood glucose, and food and drink using these, i.e., the present invention provides fermented tea leaves obtained by mixing tea leaves with loquat leaves followed by rolling and fermenting, fermented tea leaf extract obtained by extracting the fermented tea leaves, composition for restraining the rising of blood glucose, food and drink containing the fermented tea leaves and/or the fermented tea leaf extracted solution and food and drink containing the composition for restraining the rising of blood glucose. |
