abstract The invention relates to a sterilization composition which comprises the effective ingredients of one of (A) zoxamide and (B) triazole compounds, wherein the triazole compounds are selected from tebuconazole, hexaconazole, difenoconazole, epoxiconazole, flusilazole, myclobutanil, penconazole, fluquinconazole, diniconazole, triazolone, propiconazole, triadimenol, flutriafol, bitertanol and cyproconazole, the mass ratio between A and B is 50:1-1:50, and the balance is auxiliary ingredients that are allowable and acceptable in pesticides. The sterilization composition can be used for preparing wettable powders, missible oils, suspending agents, water dispersible granules, emulsion in water and microemulsion by adopting known methods. The zoxamide has remarkable synergic effect after being compounded with any one selected triazole compound according to a certain proportions; and the sterilization composition can be used for preventing and treating diseases on crops, such as grains, vegetables, fruit trees, and the like.
