abstract A method of controlling phytopathogenic diseases on beneficial plants or their propagation materials, the method comprising applying synergistically effective amounts of a combination of components A) and B) to beneficial plants, their locus or their propagation materials, wherein component A ) is a compound of formula I or a tautomer of the compound, wherein: R 1 is difluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl; Y is -CHR 2 - or formula (DD) and R 2 is hydrogen or C 1 - C6 alkyl; component B) is selected from compounds known to have fungicidal and/or insecticidal activity, said method being particularly effective in controlling or preventing fungal diseases of useful plants. The invention also relates to synergistic fungicidal compositions used in the method.
