abstract | The invention discloses a polypeptide which contains a mycobacterium tuberculosis heparin-binding haemagglutinin (HBHA) antigenic determinant, wherein the sequence of the mycobacterium tuberculosis adhesion HBHA antigenic determinant is as follows: Arg, Thr, Asp, Thr, Arg, Ser, Arg, Val and Glu. The invention also discloses a DNA molecule containing the nucleotide sequence of the polypeptide described by the code, a carrier containing the nucleic acid molecule and a host cell transformed by using the carrier. In addition, the invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition, a vaccine and a diagnostic reagent kit used for diagnosing, treating and preventing the tuberculosis. Moreover, the invention discloses an antibody produced by using the polypeptide to immunize mammals. Research results show that the mycobacterium tuberculosis adhesion HBHA has favorable sensibility and specificity in the auxiliary diagnosis of tuberculosis, especially extrapulmonary tuberculosis, and the results of experiments on animals also show that the mycobacterium tuberculosis adhesion HBHA has obvious treatment effect in the research of tuberculosis treatment and prevention. |
