abstract The invention disclose a glass powder for PDP barrier composed of glass constituents and fillers, wherein the glass constituents comprise: BaO<=10%, ZnO30-55%, Bi2O3<=30%, B2O310-50%, SiO2<=15%, Al2O3<=10%, CaO<=10%, CaO+SrO+BaO+MgO<=20%, TiO2<=50%, Na2O<=5%, R2O<=10%, P2O5<=15%, CeO+Sb2O3<=30%, CuO+Cr2O3<=5%, R2O is the alkali oxide and the fillers comprise one or some kinds of the compounds selected from the aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, cordierite, quartz powder, zinc oxide, the proportion is 5-15%. The glass powder is used for producing the material of the plasma panel barrier and the barrier with high accuracy and strength suitable for being processed by sand blast, acid corrosion or the like; compared with the material of the same type, the glass powder has features of not complicated component, low price of the raw material, narrow formula range, convenient production; in favor of reducing PDP complete-machine power consumption; adaptation for the back plate medium material and the display base plate glass, effective elimination of the sintering stress and prevention of the base plate deformation.
