The invention relates to a membrane for gas separation, a method of producing a corresponding membrane, a gas separation module having a corresponding membrane, and also a method of operating such a gas separation module. The membrane comprises: a porous support layer of polymer or inorganic material, in particular ceramic material, a separation layer, comprising a mixture of saccharide derivatives and homopolymer, in particular comprising ethylcellulose, cellulose acetate or poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, wherein the saccharide derivatives have a cyclic structure having 5 or 6 ring atoms, or a linear structure, or are monosaccharide derivatives which are bound via glycoside bonds, wherein the number of the monosaccharides bound in this manner is between 2 and 1000. In this case it has surprisingly been found that the oxygen flow through such a membrane increases considerably when saccharide derivatives are added to the membrane. |
