titleOfInvention Primer set for amplification of SULT1A1 gene, reagent for amplification of SULT1A1 gene comprising the same, and use of the same
abstract The present invention provides a primer set for amplifying a region in SULT1A1 gene that contains both of detection target sites respectively having SULT1A1*2 and SULT1A1*3 therein by a gene amplification method, which enables to amplify the region specifically. A pair of primer set is used, which comprises a forward primer comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:7 and a reverse primer comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:18. The primer set enables to amplify a region containing both of two sites respectively having polymorphisms (SULT1A1*2 and SULT1A1*3) occurring in SULT1A1 gene in a specific manner and with a high degree of efficiency.
