abstract |
A biaxially oriented white polypropylene film comprising a core layer (layer (A)) and a skin layer (layer (B)) superposed on at least one side of the layer (A). The layer (A) comprises a polypropylene resin having ss-crystal activity and 1-20 mass% particles (a) having an average dispersed-particle diameter of 60-400 nm. The layer (B) comprises a polypropylene resin and 0.05-5 mass% particles (b) having an average dispersed-particle diameter of 1-4 [mu]m. The biaxially oriented white polypropylene film is excellent in film quality and productivity, and combines sensitivity with productivity on a high level when used as a base for receiving sheets. Also provided is a receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording which includes the film. |
