In the invention, the compounds verrucarin A and verrucarin J can be applied to inhibiting the growth of human lung cancer cells Hep3B and HepG2, human lung cancer cells A549 and human prostate cancer cells LNCaP and DU-145, and the extract can be also used in pharmaceutical combination for inhibiting the cell growth of liver cancer, lung cancer and prostate cancer.
