abstract |
A method of improving the affinity of a solvent for the surface of a sparingly soluble or insoluble substance. Also provided is a molded object which contains a sparingly soluble or insoluble substance and is produced from a solution of the sparingly soluble or insoluble substance. The method of improving the affinity of the surface of a substance for a solvent comprises a step in which the substance surface is brought into contact with a water-soluble xylan and the solvent, the substance being sparingly soluble or insoluble in the solvent in the absence of the water-soluble xylan. The solution comprises a water-soluble xylan added, a substance, and a solvent, wherein the substance is sparingly soluble or insoluble in the solvent in the absence of the water-soluble xylan. The molded object comprises a water-soluble xylan added and the sparingly soluble substance. |
