abstract The present invention provides an insulated conductor with excellent wear resistance and tensile elongation performance and a manufacturing method thereof. The insulated conductor provided by the present invention includes a conductor, and an insulation covering the conductor at an extrusion temperature of 290 DEG C to 310 DEG C and formed of a resin composition. The resin composition includes more than 60% by weight of polybutylene naphthalate resin(PBN). The resin composition further includes a hydrogenated block copolymer (such as SEBS) that a block copolymer including a styrene and a diene system compound is saturated by hydrogenation, and at least one of a polyolefin (such as LLDPE) and a compound including a glycidyl group (such as EGMA).
