abstract To provide: a metal part/resin composition part composite improved so that the metal is tenaciously united and bonded to the resin; and a technique for producing the composite. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A magnesium alloy part is inserted into a mold, and a resin composition is injected into the mold to bond them and thereby obtain a composite. When a magnesium alloy sheet (1) is subjected to an ordinary chemical treatment or a modification thereof, a part having a surface layer made of a metal oxide, metal carbonate, or metal phosphate becomes usable. The larger the amount of nanometer-order crystals in the surface layer made of a metal oxide, metal carbonate, or metal phosphate, the more the surface is hard and microscopically rough. The rough surface is effective in obtaining satisfactory bond strength through injection. The surface state can be controlled by the chemical treatment method. For forming the resin composition part as the other member, a resin composition (4) containing PBT or PPS as the main component is used.
