Polymer blend method, composition, and article |
abstract |
A polymer blend may be prepared by melt kneading a composition that includes a poly(arylene ether), a polystyrene, and a carboxylic acid concentrate including a carboxylic acid compound and a polymer resin having a glass transition temperature or a melting temperature of about 30 to about 175 DEG C. Using the carboxylic acid concentrate reduces the concentrations of styrene monomer and toluene in the polymer blend. |
