titleOfInvention Ice resistant cable and preparing method thereof
abstract The invention belongs to the anti-icing antifreeze technical field, in particular relating to an anti-icing cable and a method for making the same. At present, most cables, which are made of copper or aluminum and have wide application outdoors and in the field, play an important role in the normal power transmission; however, the prior cable does not have anti-icing function and is easy to ice up when in cold weather or snowing; therefore, the additional weight of ice brings a great load to the cable, thereby damaging the cable and influencing normal power transmission. The anti-icing cable is coated with an anti-icing protective film on the basis of an ordinary cable, and the major composition of the anti-icing protective film is siloxane polymer. When used before or in a windy and snowing weather in winter, the anti-icing cable can effectively prevent the icing of the cable; moreover, the anti-icing cable can also prevent too heavy load caused by excessive ice-snow accumulation on the cable so as to reduce the pressure exerted correspondingly on suspension equipment and a connector and to be propitious to normal power transmission.
