abstract |
Disclosed are: a resin composition for direct metal plating, which can provide excellent metal-plating properties such as good deposition of a plated metal and good appearance when a metal film (e.g., a copper film) is formed by an electroplating in a direct metal plating method; and an molded article comprising the composition; and a metal-plated molded article having a metal or alloy film, which is produced by a direct metal-plating method. The composition is a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a rubber-reinforced vinyl resin. The rubber-reinforced vinyl resin comprises a diene rubbery polymer [a1] and an ethylene-a-olefin rubbery polymer [a2], wherein the total amount of the diene rubbery polymer [a1] and the ethylene-a-olefin rubbery polymer [a2] comprises 3 to 30% by mass of the total amount of the thermoplastic resin composition and the content ratio of the ethylene-a-olefin rubbery polymer [a2] is 0.01 to 0.4 relative to the total amount of the composition. |
