titleOfInvention | Information display panel and method for manufacturing the same |
abstract | The invention provides an information display panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The information display panel is used for displaying information such as an image by sealing a display medium (3) in the space between a transparent front substrate (2) and a back substrate (1), imparting an electric field to the display medium (3) from electrodes (6, 5) provided respectively on the front substrate (2) and the back substrate (1), and moving the display medium (3), wherein the back substrate (1) is composed of a flexible material, and a patterned metal electrode (5) is formed on the back substrate (1) by deposition or sputtering or a metal electrode (5) is formed on the back substrate (1) by forming a metal film (5) by deposition or sputtering and patterning the metal film (5) by etching or the like. Thus, an information display panel is provided wherein the flexibility of a back substrate (1) with an electrode can be enhanced inexpensively, the substrates can be handled easily and damage of a panel due to separation of the two substrates (1, 2) is suppressed. |
