titleOfInvention | Process for producing aggregated latex particle |
abstract | A novel method of particle formation by which the target aggregated latex particles can be efficiently recovered from a polymer latex under temperature conditions which are as wide as possible without deteriorating the original quality possessed by the polymer itself, while inhibiting secondary aggregation and fine-particle generation. The process for producing aggregated latex particles is characterized by atomizing or dropping a polymer latex in a gas phase containing an inorganic salt and/or acid in an aerosol state and causing the droplets of the polymer latex to fall or come into an aqueous phase containing a dispersant. Preferably, the process is further characterized in that the polymer latex contains a water-soluble polymer having the property of forming a physical gel. |
