abstract The present invention relates to novel substituted aminocyclohexane compounds that are inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase-IV enzymes ("DPP-IV inhibitors") and are useful in the treatment or prevention of enzymes involving dipeptidyl peptidase-IV Diseases of the IV enzymes, such as diabetes, especially type 2 diabetes. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds, and the use of these compounds and compositions in the prevention or treatment of these diseases in which dipeptidyl peptidase-IV enzymes are involved.
