titleOfInvention Method of injection compression molding
abstract A method of injection compression molding, comprising bringing metal mold (11,12) into a clamped state under a low pressure; while moving cavity space (13) to gate (30), injection-charging molten thermoplastic resin composition (16) into the cavity space (13) from the gate; and substantially simultaneously with the completion of the charging, not only bringing the metal mold (11,12) into a clamped state under a high pressure but also attaining compression shaping of the thermoplastic resin composition (16) having been charged in the cavity space (13). As injection compression molding of a thermoplastic resin composition containing any of heat conductive fillers including an electrically conductive filler, etc. in high proportion can be effected, this method can be used in the production of molded items, for example, a separator for fuel cell, a planar antenna, etc.
