titleOfInvention Method for preparing salt of poly aspartic acid
abstract This invention provides a method for preparing poly(aspartic acid) and its salts. The method comprises: adding solvent and aspartic acid into a reaction kettle, and heating for condensation. The solvent and water can form azeotrope, and the condensation temperature is controlled near the azeotropic point. Therefore, aspartic acid can be taken out of the reaction kettle by the azetrope of solvent and water produced during the condensation reaction, and what remains in the reaction kettle is poly (aspartic acid). To prepare polyaspartate, alkali solution is added to hydrolyze poly (aspartic acid) and form polyaspartate. The method has such advantages as simple process and controllable product molecular weight.
