titleOfInvention | Water-based heat-radiation-preventive coating material for glass, heat-radiation-preventive glass, and method of preventing heat radiation |
abstract | A water-based heat-radiation-preventive coating material for glasses which is obtained by adding 0.001 to 10 wt.% silane coupling agent represented by the general formula (I) (X is a group reactive or compatible with organic materials and R1 to R3 each is OH or a group capable of generating a silanol upon hydrolysis) to deionized water having a total anion content of 700 mg-CaCO3/L or lower. The coating material is applied to one side of a glass substrate to form a heat-radiation-preventive coating film. The coated glass substrate is disposed so that the coating film side faces the space inside. Thus, heat radiation from the glass to the inside can be prevented. The water-based heat-radiation-preventive coating material enables a heat-radiation-preventive coating film excellent in adhesion to glasses and in durability to be evenly and easily formed. Also provided are a heat-radiation-preventive glass having such coating film and a method of preventing heat radiation from a glass. |
