THE SPACE IS VIRTUAL AND NOT REAL, AS IN THE CASE OF THE TUBULAR DEVICE. THIS ALLOWS THE SLOW AND SUSTAINED EXIT OF THE WATER HUMOR MINIMIZING THE POSSIBILITY OF FLAT CAMERA TO PENETRATION OF GERMS THROUGH THE DEVICE. IN ADDITION, THE ANCHORAGE SYSTEM IS LESS AGGRESSIVE WHICH WOULD DECREASE THE POSSIBILITY OF BLEEDING. </p>
