| abstract | The method is used to connect cable track sections (1A, 1B) which each comprise at least one first or second floor element (12A) and side walls (11A; 11B) adjoining them on both sides, optionally provided with perforations, and which, after they are connected, a cable track (1) Form, wherein a connecting device (2) is provided which comprises a metal connecting plate (20), and a holding means is provided, by means of which the connecting plate (20) with mutually corresponding and end-to-end side walls (11A; 11B) of the cable track sections (1A , 1B). According to the invention, in a first work step the connecting plate (20) is connected to the mutually corresponding side walls (11A; 11B) of the cable track sections (1A, 1B) with the aid of the holding means in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner. Subsequently, the connecting plate (20) and the side walls (11A; 11B) of the two cable track sections (1A, 1B) are each deformed into one another at at least one point in a second work step and joined into one another in a form-fitting manner. |
