A grease composition for a precision instrument includes a base oil, a thickener, and an anti-wear agent. The base oil is, for example, a paraffin-based hydrocarbon oil (A-1) having 30 or more carbon atoms. The thickener is a lithium soap or a diurea compound. The antiwear agent is, for example, a neutral phosphate ester (B-1) represented by the general formula (b-1) below. The content of the anti-wear agent is not less than 0.1% by mass and not more than 20% by mass of the grease composition for a precision instrument taken as 100% by mass. |
