The production of a growth-promoting product, e.g. based on cilpateriol HCl or other growth-promoting agents for feeding animals and promoting their weight gain, is carried out by mixing the respective growth-promoting agent with e.g. 15% propylene glycol to obtain a soluble substance. Various additives may be added, e.g. Preservative, bacterial inhibitor, etc. The resulting liquid product is finally ready to be dispersed, prediluted with water or not, and mixed with solid feed or dissolved in drinking water. Preferably, the solubilized growth promoting product is dripped onto the solid feed in a feed mixer to homogeneously mix the product with the feed. The handling of this liquid growth promoting product is easier and safer for the product handling personnel since it does not generate dust. In addition, it improves the homogeneous dispersion in the feed and the handling of the feed is more economical than the use of solids. It can also be transferred to the drinking water, where it forms a stable solution. |
