abstract | A device for producing an HMLS yarn from a polyester melt comprises a spinning device (1) with a spinneret (2) for extruding and a blowing shaft (3) for cooling a plurality of filament strands (4), a device (5) for applying a spin finish and for combining the filament strands (4) into a yarn (6), a winding device (16), and a draw zone provided between the spinning device (1) and the winding device (16) for drawing the yarn (6). The draw zone is formed by an inlet roller pair (7) and four to six successive draw roller pairs (8 to 12). The last draw roller pair (12) of the four to six successive draw roller pairs is provided with a cooling device (14) and the other draw roller pairs (8 to 11) of the four to six successive draw roller pairs except the last draw roller pair (12) are provided with a heater. At least one of the two rollers of a respective pair of draw rollers (8 to 12) of the four to six successive pairs of draw rollers is provided with a heating or cooling device. The device is designed in such a way that the speed (V2) at which the yarn can be withdrawn from the spinning device (1) through the inlet roller pair (7) is 400 m / min to 600 m / min. |
