abstract The method consists in using a setting device for perforated (20) or prismatic stones comprising at least one reference plane (13), on which is wedged the workpiece (1) to be imbedded, said plane comprising means for spatial positioning of said stone, such as pitons (15) or cavities. Once the stone is in place, it is secured to its housing by applying a laser beam (30) on its rim, possibly with fuse material input.
