abstract A cyclooxygenase inhibitor, e.g. Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), as an antiplatelet agent, is combined with green tea extract to enhance the sole action of acetylsalicylic acid through other mechanisms. The green tea extract contains epigallocatechin-gallate, which, like aspirin, inhibits the development of cancer.
