titleOfInvention | IMPLANT TO INTRODUCE IN THE TAPE CHANNEL OF AN EYE. |
abstract | An implant for insertion into the Schlemm's canal of an eye is proposed in which the circular Schlemm's canal is exposed at least at one site and, for example, gently gently stretched by means of a flexible microcatheter and injected or subsequently with a high molecular weight viscoelastic. The implant (35) which can be introduced into the lumen (16) of the Schlemm's canal (15) consists of an elongated tube with a plurality of openings (35a) and a plurality of apertures (35a) spaced apart in the axial direction by web-shaped ring parts (35c) and in the interior (35e) at least one continuously oriented in the axial direction of the connecting part with a circular arc-shaped surface, which in the inserted state supportingly adjacent to the lumen inner wall (16 ') is arranged. |
