titleOfInvention | Alkoxyphenyl substituted bisacylphosphine oxides. |
abstract | Alkoxyphenyl-substd. bis-acylphosphine oxide cpds. of formula R1-C(O)-P(O)(R3)-C(O)-R2 (I) are new. In the formulae, R1,R2 = (II); R4,R5 = 1-12C alkyl or alkoxy; R6-R8 = H; R4 halogen; R3 = (III); R9 = (halogen-substd.) 1-20C alkyl; 2-20C alkyl interrupted by -O-; alkenoxy-substd. 1-4C alkyl; 5-6C cycloalkyl; phenyl, phenyl (1-4C alkyl) or naphthyl (ring-substd. with 1-4 x 1-4C alkyl and/or alkoxy gps.); 2-12C alkenyl; -CF3; glycidyl gp.; (IV) or (V); X = (-OR13-substd.) 1-16C alkylene; 2-20C alkylene interrupted ;by -O-; 4-12C alkenylene or xylylene; R10 = H; 1-120C alkyl. 2-18C alkylene interrupted by -O-; 2-12C alkenyl; cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl; phenyl (substd. with 1-2 x 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy gps.) or -OR9; R11 = R10 or (VI); or R9 and R10 in (III) together = -CH2CR14R15 - or -C(CH3)2CH=CH=; or R10 and R11, together with the atoms to which they are attached, form a benzene ring, optionally substd. with 1-2 x 1-4C alkyl and/or alkoxy gps.; R12 = H or OR9; R12 = 1-8C alkyl; R14,R15 = H; 1-8C alkyl; phenyl or -CH2OR13; or R14,R15, together with the C-atom to which they are attached, form a 5-6C cycloalkyl ring; Y = a direct bond; -CR16R17-; -NR18-; -S-; -SO2-; -(CH2)m-; or -CH=CH-; R16 = H, methyl or ethyl; R17 = H or 1-4C alkyl; R18 = R17 or phenyl; and m = 2-12; provided that if -OR9 in (III) is in the p-phenyl ring and R9 = methyl, then at least one of R10-R12 is not H |
