abstract The intermediates of the formula <IMAGE> in which R denotes alkyl or alkoxyalkyl, important for the preparation of therapeutically useful 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridyl-substituted 2-oxo-2H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo- pyrimidinecarbamates are obtained by reaction of the corresponding arylsulphonyloxy- or alkylsulphonyloxy-substituted derivatives with 1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine.
