titleOfInvention | Water by-channel |
abstract | The by-channel described is made up of the toric jacket (1) capable of being inflated by the valve (2) and of the pipe segment (3) which is connected via one of its ends in a sealed manner to the internal periphery of the jacket (1). The pipe (3) is reinforced so as to keep its shape, whereas the jacket (1) is made of a flexible and elastic material such as for example rubber or an elastomer in order to be able to be inflated and be applied inside a pipeline section (4) after having been inserted into this pipeline through an opening (6) made with a view to carrying out work on this pipeline. Once installed, the by-channel forms a barrier on the upstream side and enables the water contained in the pipeline to flow out through the pipe (3) thus drying up the zone where the opening (6) was made. <IMAGE> |
