The self-lubricating antifriction material based on a nitrogen-containing polymer contains, as filler, molybdenum disulphide which has been modified by phosphorus-containing acid or phosphorus-containing ester. The nitrogen-containing polymer is either a polyimide of the formula <IMAGE> or a polyphenylquinoxaline of the formula <IMAGE> in which the substituents are as defined in Claim 1. The polymer is present in an amount of 5-95% by weight, based on the weight of the self-lubricating antifriction material, and the modified molybdenum disulphide is likewise present in an amount of 5-95% by weight; it contains 0.01-2% by weight of phosphorus. In addition to said components, the antifriction material optionally contains from 1 to 90% by weight of unmodified molybdenum disulphide. The antifriction material can be used for the production of roller bearing cages, sliding bearing sleeves and various parts of toothed wheel gears operated in dry friction assemblies. |
