Basic oxime ethers of the formula <IMAGE> in which the symbols A, B, n, R, R<1> and R<2> have the meanings stated in Claim 1 are obtained by reacting a ketone or thioketone of the formula <IMAGE> directly with the hydroxylamine derivative H2N-O-A-B, with hydroxylamine and then with a haloalkylamine Hal-A-B, or first with hydroxylamine, then with the dihalo compound Hal-CH2-A'-Hal' and then with the amine HB, or by reacting the chloro compound <IMAGE> with the hydroxylamine derivative H2N-O-A-B. The compounds have low toxicity and are distinguished by interesting local anaesthetic and spasmolytic effects, an inhibitory effect on nicotine lethality and tetracor convulsions and antagonism to tetrabenazine. |
