abstract | Compounds of the general formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> represents a pyridyl radical, R<2> represents hydrogen or lower alkyl, R<3> represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or benzyl and R<4> represents a nitro-substituted phenyl radical, and the acid addition salts thereof are prepared by nitrating the phenyl radical R<40> in a compound of the general formula <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2> and R<3> have the abovementioned meaning and R<40> represents phenyl or in an acid addition salt thereof, optionally converting a resulting base into an acid addition salt, optionally separating a mixture of cis- and trans-isomers which may be obtained and optionally resolving a resulting racemate into the optical antipodes. The process products have analgesic activity. |
