The new compounds correspond to the formula below: <IMAGE> in which R means alkyl, other than ethyl, containing up to 6 carbon atoms, or C1 to C6 alkyl carrying 1 to 3 substituents, and R' means hydrogen or methyl. These compounds are obtained by reaction of the corresponding acids, or of their metal salts, halides, alkyl esters or anhydrides, with compounds of formula RY, in which R has the abovementioned meanings and Y is hydroxyl, halogen or organic sulphonyloxy. The products have antipyretic, antiinflammatory and analgesic activities, while having only a slight toxicity. |
