abstract | Novel 1:2 chromium or cobalt complex compounds, in which at least one of the two complex-forming azo compounds corresponds to the formula (1) <IMAGE> are obtained by coupling in any desired sequence one mol of a compound of the formula (2) <IMAGE> with one mol of a diazotised amine of the formula (3) <IMAGE> and n mol of any desired diazo component and metallising using an appropriate metal compound. Reference is made to the definition of Patent Claim 1 for the meanings of the symbols R1 to R8 and also M and n. These dyestuffs are particularly suitable for dyeing leather and paper. |
