| abstract | Selective herbicidal mixts. contain (a) 1 part 3-cyclohexyl-5,6-trimethylene-uracil (I) of formula: and (b) 1-15 parts of a trichloroacetaldehyde deriv of formula (II): (where R1 and R2 are H or alkyl). The mixts are useful for selective control of broad-leaf and grassy weeds in various crops, esp. beet crops. They are more active against dicotyledonous weeds than (II) alone and have a lower toxicity to crop plants than (I) alone. |
