abstract |
Dentifrice active against plaque and tartar contains 10, e.g. 0.1-10 (0.25-10) esp. 0.5-5 wt.% Zn salt, (I), (calc. as Zn) of an acid. Water-solubility of (I) is higher than that of Zn phosphate and lower than that of ZnF2. Dentifrice also contains a polishing agent (II) which leaves Zn ions in soln. |
