abstract Active ingredients for activating cell processes in biological systems are extd. with MeOH from phospholipoidcontg. materials obtd. from animal or plant parts. MeOH soln. contains the active ingredients. The ingredients are useful in (i) agriculture, to promote longitudinal plant growth, root- and leaf germination, and also as plant protective agents by improving resistance to parasites; (ii) activating yeasts and bacteria cultures; (iii) as oxygen batteries; (iv) in brewing and malting and (v) in cosmetics, to maintain and promote skin functions.
