abstract | Novel title cpds are the dl- and l-isomers of cpds. of formula: (in which R1 and R2 are H, 3-10 C alkyl, 2-8 C alkenyl, 3-7 C cycloalkyl, lower hydroxyalklyl, lower alkanoyloxy-lower alkyl, lower alkoxy-lower alkyl, opt. substd. benzyl, opt. substd. phenylethyl, mono- or di-nitrophenyl, 2- or 4-pyridyl, 2- or 4-pyrimidyl, 2-thiazolyl, pyridylmethyl, furfuryl, tetrahydrofurfuryl or R5CO (where R5 is H, 1-9 C alkyl, 2-7 C alkenyl, 3-7 C cycloalkyl, 1-6 C haloalkyl, 1-6 C aminoalkyl, mono- or di- lower alkyl-amino-lower alkyl, piperidino-lower alkyl, pyrrolidino-lower alkyl, morpholino-lower alkyl, lower alkoxy-lower alkyl, opt. substd. phenyl, furfuryl, tetrahydrofurfuryl, naphthyl, 1-8 C alkoxy, amino, mono- or di- lower alkylamino, piperidino, pyrrolidino or morpholino) or -NR1R2 is piperidino, pyrrolidino, morpholino or (lower alkyl)2NCH = N- and R3 and R4 are H, halogen, or NO2, but when Re3 and R4 are both H, only one of R1 and R2 may be H; the opt. substs. being selected from mono-, di-, or tri-halo, mono- or di-NO2, mono-, di or tri- lower alkyl, or mono-, di- or tri- lower alkoxy; and represents a single or double bond) and are claimed together with their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. |
