abstract | Herbicidal triazines - 2-substd-4-amino-6- 1'-cyclo propyl-1'-cyano-alkyl-amino s-triazines. Novel title cpds of formula (I) are prepared by reacting novel intermediates (II): (where R1=Cl, CH3O, CH3S, C2H5S; R2=H, 1-4C alkyl, 3-5C cycloalkyl R3=1-3C alkyl, cyclopropyl, R4=H, CH3) with cyanuryl chloride in the presence of an acid acceptor; the product is reacted with R2NH2 in the presence of an acid acceptor to yield I(R1=Cl) which may be converted to other R1 derivs. |
