abstract | Dyestuff has formula (I): (where M is 1 to 5, n is 0 to 2, p is 0 to 4, and m+n+p is not >5; Q is hydroxy, lower alkoxy, hydroxy-lower alkoxy, phenoxy, amino, or hydrazino; Pc is a phthalocyanine radical; R1 and R2 are the same or different lower alkyl or -alkenyl or hydroxy-lower alkyl, or one of R1 and R2 may be lower-alkenyl-NHY, or R1 and R2 with N atom form pyrrolidine, piperidine or 4-lower alkanoyl piperazine; and Z is H, or with r1, R2 and the two N atoms forms R3-N N- where R3 is lower alkyl, opt. hydroxy- or phenyl- substd; X is halogen, pref. Cl, and Y is H or COR where R is chosen from the same group as R3). The dyes are esp. useful for dyeing cellulosic fibres giving products to U.V. light and to washing. |
