Cpds. of gen. formula (I): where R1 = H or hydroxyl; R2 = H or lower alkyl; and their acid-addition salts, are prepd. by reacting a cpd. (II) with a cpd. (III) where R6 = 1-pyrazolyl opt. substd. with lower alkyl, or lower alkylthio. Prepn. pref. in inert solvent such as aq. alkanols in the presence of pref. 1 equivalent of acid. (I) have broncholytic activity with little toxicity. |
