titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of new monoazo dyes |
abstract | Monoazoic dyes for use with cellulosic fibres.. M2A. Are prepared by (a) coupling a diazotised amine (III) with a cpd. (IV), or (b) reacting an azoic dye (I) in which the triazinyl group has formula (II) and A = Cl or Br, with a t-amine or a hydrazine. R is a residue of a diazoic cpd. of the benzene series linked to the azoic bridge in the o-position to the sulphonic group; one Y is H, and the other is a sulphonic acid group; Z is aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic acylamino, pref. triazinylamino, or H; Z' is acylamino, optionally linked by a bridging element, pref. benzoylamino, or heterocyclic acylamino, pef. triazinylamino; at least one of Z and Z' is a group (II); where A is a quaternised amino or hydrazino group. |
